The Xanadu Entertainment Agency is very honoured to be representing a distinguished and highly talented group of Brazilian musicians and dancers that collectively call themselves: The Tropicalia Band.
Since the foundation of the Tropicalia Band, the directors ‘Leo Mantini’ and ‘Vanessa Carvalho’, have developed a fresh and innovative musical style show, breathing new life and vitality into the traditional Latin entertainment scene.
Tropicalia Band offer the latest packages to clients of different budgets & requirements:
Tropicalicious Show
- From 7 piece upwards. The line-up includes 4 musicians on piano/keyboards, bass guitar, drums, percussion plus three performers. The standard show includes 2x 45 minute spots which can be adjusted according to the client’s requirements. This Latin Brazilian Show features a display of beautiful costumes, colourful feathers and gorgeous dresses throughout, plus audience participation.
Latin Salsa & Brazilian Samba Party Band
- 5 piece Latin Brazilian party band includes four musicians on piano/keyboard, bass guitar, drums, percussion and female Brazilian singer. A bigger formation is available including trumpet player, guitarist or an extra percussion. If on a budget, the client can opt for a 4 piece with no percussion.
Rio De Janeiro Carnival
- To make a massive impact on your event, re-create the sensual rhythms of Brazil with thise ensemble of five drummers and three dancers. This performance will give a unique taste of the Rio De Janeiro Carnival with an explosive mixture of both samba drumming and dancing. Brautiful samba dancers in shimmering bikinis and colourful feathers will provide a fascinating and stylish show.
Latin Jazz Band
- Latin Jazz band in different formats. Perfect for Jazz Clubs, festivals, Weddings, Hotels, Dinners etc. The members of the band are highly experienced and skilled musicians who have worked extensively throughout the world. The quartet line-up includes piano, bass guitar, drums and female Brazilian singer. It can be extended to a quintet adding a percussionist or even to a sextet with a trumpet or guitar player. The client can also opt for a piano & vocal duo. The band includes quality musicians with an expansive Lating Jazz repertoire which includes a creative blend of Afro Cuban-Brazilian grooves seasoned and enforced with traditional and original melodies. Featuring the finest selection of Brazilian music by Airto Moreira, Ellis Regina, Tania Maria, Tom Jobim, Djavan, Vinicius de Moraes, Joao Bosco and lots of others.
The Tropicalia Band can visit venues throughout the UK given good time and notice.
