Simon Ellinas draws caricatures on the spot at any event to entertain your guests and to leave them with a unique memento of your hospitality. Each caricature includes a body and hobby making them even more personal and each sheet can be pre-printed with your company details or the title and date of the event.
Simon's style of working is geared towards maximum laughter and as such his friendly banter and quick fire humour is extremely popular.
He has worked live on BBC News 24 for their 2005 General Election broadcast and his cartoons have been used by ITV, BP, Apple, Microsoft, O2, Price Waterhouse and many others.
"Simon is very quick on the draw and is the genuine article. It is said that "he was born with a pencil in his hand" and this shows from years of skill and experience. He can work very fast and often at short notice. He can actually eat, drink, talk, laugh and draw all at the same time!" - Phil Pearl.
"I met Simon at the Ecademy Xmas party last year. Gregarious and approachable, with a huge sense of fun, Simon puts you at your ease within seconds, essential in order to capture the subjects of his wit and to convey their company message/personality when time can be at a premium." - Emma James.
"Great bloke and a fantastic caricaturist - very very impressed with what was a very quick drawing!Would highly recommend for an event, special occasion or to anyone writing a book - will definitely use in the future and highly recommend. Thanks Simon!" - Andy Preston.
Not only just a caricaturist, but also a stand-up comic poet, Simon has been wowing audiences with his Cartoon Poetry Act in which he performs his comic poetry simultaneously illustrated by cartoons! Tesco's management said "We haven't laughed so much in ages".
He writes a specially customised poem about the event incorporating details about the key personalities and draws four or five cartoons to accompany this. He performs this poem amongst some of his own during a hilarious 25 minute set.
He presented this act to the preliminary stage of 'Britain's Got Talent' but didn't qualify because "I didn't say that this was the most important moment in my life like all the others do!"
Also available for studio work, if you want a caricature drawn from photos.
